  I give this 5 stars for an adult campground. I would not recommend it as a campground for young families. There is nothing to entertain young children. No campfires as it is a UNESCO site. Price is excellent. Beat value in NS. It is right in the heart of Lunenburg. Peaceful, great views. Offers water, electricity, picnic tables, showers and a bathroom. Pubs and restaurants nearby. Need laundry, can find it in town. Great spot to base out of and travel the south shore. At dusk birds are singing and flocks zooming overhead.

  Loved it! The town is absolutely gorgeous the history the food the drinks the water front truly a sight to see if you are traveling the east coast.. Site is good enough for a night or two, i would consider this a glorified rest stop with endless sights to see..

  Gorgeous view of Back Harbour and easy walk into this world heritage town. A lovely, quiet place to camp. Interesting history as this was once the site of a lighthouse but was later turned into the "blockhouse" that hosts the tourist bureau (check-in desk). Drawbacks? A bit cramped.
