  Late lunch with friends at Dockside on the sunny deck that overlooks the Bluenose II. Mussels were fresh off the boat that morning and very tasty. The fresh haddock were at least an inch thick with a light batter that was crisp and not at all greasy. The service was fast and our server was the perfect example of Nova Scotia hospitality and warmth. Great view, food and people!

  Nice view but the food was just awful. I was charged $22.95 (something I didn't find out until after!) for a lobster salad sandwich that I only ate half of because it was so terrible!! Store bought brown bread, way too much mayo and chewy small bits of lobster that were definitely not fresh. How can they justify that price? The chowder was cold and bland, with seafood that was clearly frozen. Don't let the name fool you - don't go here if you want seafood. I'm still not over how much I paid for the worst sandwich I've ever had. This place should be ashamed.

  Rooms have AMAZING views cannot imagine getting better...location is close walking distance to all shops and restaurants. but I found the room to be slightly dated and Mattress is much harder than I like. Rooms were very clean and pillows were nice and fluffy. Staff is really friendly. Would have given 5 stars if matress was more comfortable...my husband loved it...me not as much. Good in the restaurant was REALLY REALLY good. Also portions were huge. I recommend this location and will visit again.
